GAIA EPICHEIREIN has designed a series of informative infographics for the Common Agricultural Policy, with the aim of communicating, in a more visual and direct way, data on the objectives and measures of the new CAP related to climate change adaptation, mitigation and contributing to a climate-smart agriculture by embracing knowledge, innovation and digitization.

Carbon Farming

The first infographic upon the climate dimension of the CAP is focused on Carbon Farming, a new green business model that rewards land managers for taking up practices leading to carbon sequestration, combined with strong benefits on biodiversity.

Climate Action

The second infographic upon the climate dimension of the CAP is focused on climate action in the framework of the CAP and the way it is supported through targeted budget and toolbox.

CAP & THE Livestock sector

The third infographic upon the climate dimension of the CAP is focused on CAP & THE Livestock sector, that needs to be supported in order to offer more sustainable and affordable animal food products to European consumers.

CAP 2023-2027 aims to contribute to the reduction of the carbon footprint and the sustainability of the livestock sector.

Climate Change Adaptation

The fourth infographic upon the climate dimension of the CAP is focused on Climate Change Adaptation, the process of adjusting to current or expected effects of climate change in order to prevent and/or minimize these effects to the agricultural sector.
