The country’s farming world needs not only to be informed in depth about the current and upcoming legislative initiatives in the framework of the European Green Deal, as the climate is at the heart of the sustainability objectives of the new CAP. Emphasis will also be given to the horizontal goal of the new CAP, knowledge/innovation/digitalization, in order to achieve the environmental goals.

At the 9th Panhellenic Conference on the Development of Greek Agriculture, organized by GAIA EPICHEIREIN, all stakeholders will be informed in detail and will discuss the current global, EU and national climate-related challenges affecting the agricultural sector, the relevant tools of CAP, as well as national strategic options and best practices from Greece and other EU Member States.

Events are also planned in order to highlight the opportunities offered by the new CAP in terms of risk management as well as carbon farming.
